Algis Kemezys started out in the visual arts as a fine art photographer. First working with Berenice Abbott then photographing all over the world. His work has been published and exhibited internationally (New York; Chicago; Toronto; Montreal,Greece; India, Lithuania, Mexico). While on the island of Crete, He made two award winning documentaries called Mimetoliths and MasterClass with Walter Lassally. Born in Stone, which was shown at The National Archaeological Museum in Athens

Algis Kemezys's "Altered States" Environmental Photographic Art
All these images are made by applying toxic household ingredients to Kodacrome slides and then burning them twice.
